An object that knows when to disappear
The Keel Shelf began as a working drawing for a studio storage wall that kept failing: too many brackets, too much visual noise, too many decisions. We removed everything that did not serve the objects it holds. The result is a single indexed joint, a low-profile cleat and a felt back that makes hard rooms sound softer. One strong idea per page, one honest material per object.
“We would rather remove a feature than explain it.”
